BOOKS I CAN'T SHUT UP ABOUT

"Don't talk down to me. Don't be polite to me. Don't try to make me feel nice. Don't relax. I'll cut the smile off your face- You think I don't know what's going on. You think I'm afraid to react. The joke's on you. I'm biding my time, looking for the spotThe game is almost over so it's time to acknowledge me."

Even when I was just a child one of my major hobbies has been reading. I have been in a reading slump for over one year due to one relationship that I had during that year and because of my school. In this year I have set myself a goal to read everyday, it doesn't matter whether it is two or 50 pages. Unfortunately, I have started reading near the end of January because I had to prepare myself for my first university final exams and also I bought a kindle, which after a week of using it I admit that it has improved how I read as it's small, portable, and the screen is nicer than a phone screen. Right now I'm reading at the same time Game of Thrones written by George R R Martin, and The Picture of Dorian Gray written by Oscar Wilde, and I have also read Manacled (yes the dramione fanfic) now I will be talking a bit more about these books.

I have been meaning to read a Song of Ice and Fire by George R R Martin for some years. A year ago I had started reading the first book, which I'm reading now, but I paused because of some exams I had to study for. But now that I have started watching Game of Thrones, which at the moment I'm watching the fourth season, I am surprisingly utterly obsessed with it (I even created an OC and a house for self-inserting, which I'll talk about some other day). Before I started the series I thought it would be a boring long series, but it has surpassed all my expectations, and I thought that reading the books would be really interesting as I have heard that the last seasons are kind of bad because they deviated from the books, and it created a need in me for reading them.
